Relational Color Data

Color exists as an objective phenomenon—wavelengths of light within the visual spectrum interact with matter, reflecting and refracting in predictable ways. Yet, color is also deeply subjective, shaped by neurology, perception, and context. Philosopher Mazviita Chirimuuta’s color adverbialism challenges the idea of color as a fixed property, instead framing it as an experience dependent on the observer’s interaction with light. This view bridges physics and perception, recognizing color as neither fully objective nor purely illusory.
